Location: Microsoft Teams
KPU Wild Spaces, the Climate+ Challenge, and KPU Library invite you to join us for a virtual book club where we discuss Theory of Water by Michi Saagiig Nishnaabeg artist and academic Leanne Betasamosake Simpson. Winner of the 2025 Hilary Weston Writers’ Trust Prize and a national bestseller, this powerful book reimagines water as a healing and environmental source of connection and change. The book club will be hosted by Lee Beavington (Learning Strategist, Wild Spaces, former Climate+ Challenge Fellow) and Mark Vardy (Criminology, former Climate+ Challenge Fellow). Obtain a Library copy here. This event supports SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation and SDG 15: Life on Land by exploring water as a living, interconnected system tied to land...

Rising Women in Leadership

Thu, Mar 26, 2026, 4 - 7:30 PM
Location: Conference Room 4900
Join us for the second edition of the Rising Women in Leadership panel on March 26, 2026, at the KPU, Willson School of Design, Richmond Campus. This year’s theme is sustainability, featuring five alumni panelists who will share insights on what it takes to lead in today’s world. The panel discussion is sponsored by the KPU Alumni Association, with support from the Wilson School of Design. It will be moderated by the event’s creator, Natasha Campbell, a faculty member and community trailblazer focused on diversity and design. This event advances SDG 5: Gender Equality by amplifying women’s leadership in sustainability and creating space for diverse voices to shape a more equitable future.
